I was drawn to midwifery through my passion for women’s health and belief that pregnancy and birth are natural yet profound experiences in the lives of women and their families which deserve to be honoured, respected and celebrated. My education includes an Honours Bachelor of Sciences degree in Physiology from McGill University and a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Midwifery from McMaster University. Throughout my experience as a midwife I have developed a commitment to an integrative, women-centered philosophy of care informed by both evidence-based research and a holistic approach to midwifery practice. I feel incredibly humbled and blessed to be a midwife and I look forward to working with you to make your experience of pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood a positive one!I have had the opportunity to live in a number of communities in Saskatchewan, Alberta, the Yukon, Quebec, and Ontario. I love being able to call beautiful Victoria home and look forward to exploring all this vibrant community has to offer! When I am not busy catching babies I can be found hiking, gardening, crafting, reading, baking, doing yoga or enjoying time with my amazing little nephews.I look forward to being a part of your childbearing experience!
